BOOK REVIEW: Suffer by E.E. Borton

 Suffer, written by EE Borton
Kate Freeman opened the front door of her vacation villa to a wolf in sheep’s clothing. A few moments later, fifty thousand paralyzing volts shot through her body. Her world went dark; and when she awoke, her family was torn apart forever.

After months of agonizing physical therapy to heal the vicious wounds to her body, the Kate who emerged was no longer the loving mother, sister, and friend from before. The Kate who survived was something much different. Something much darker.

Without hesitation or remorse, she will hunt down the men who destroyed her life, even if it means sacrificing her last shreds of humanity.
She will make them suffer.
Quote from Suffer:
“She’s my sister and I go where she goes. I don’t care how dark it
is when we get there, but I’m going with her.

My Review

This is the first book I’ve listen to by E.E. Borton and I absolutely loved every second of it! Excellent book. Excellent story telling. Excellent narration by Emily Sutton-Smith. The characters are well done and are very realistic. As a parent I had a difficult time listening to the beginning and turned it off for a few days, once I turned it back on, I couldn’t turn if off again!(I completed in two days)
Suspense that keeps you engrossed. If you love Mystery/Thriller this book is great.
5 STARS! A must read!!
Believe me, it holds your interest immensely…..

About the Author

My name is on the front of the novels, but there are more names that live within every page I create. It’s the reason why this will never be my story about how I publish novels. It will always be our story.

The journey started several years ago while I was still working with a rescue helicopter service. I went to visit my longtime friend Gordon Wulff with a headful of ideas and the beginnings of a story.

Sitting on his deck on a chilly fall evening, having a chilly cocktail, I let him read the first chapter of Dragonflies and Snowflakes. I impatiently waited for his response. Three novels later, I still remember the look on his face when he finished reading my story. All it took was for one person to believe in me.

E.E. Borton served six years with Naval Intelligence in North Africa, Southern Europe, and the Middle East. As a civilian, he served thirteen years with a rescue helicopter service in Atlanta, Georgia, where he currently resides. Learn more about the author and his other titles on his website at
